Currency

The only currency in Bulgaria is lev (abbreviation BGN) which consists of 100 stotinki. Exchange of currency is done in banks, exchange offices, in hotels, in border check points, railway stations and other places. The official exchange rate of the Bulgarian National Bank towards the EUR is 1,95583 leva per 1 EUR. The rate of the USD is fluctuating.
